Today we went to a Japanese restaurant near our apartment.The food was good and the waiters were so friendly to us.After the dinner,they offered my cousin and my uncle's son and me free Pocky.At first I did not know why they just gave to us.Then the guy told us because today is the Children's day in Japan.They gave sweet to all kids.Then I realized that the waiter gave to me as well.Oh,he must thought I was a kid.Then my uncle made fun of me.He said you really needed to dress up more like a adult.I felt so sad.I really want to look more at my age.I am already 19 years old now.

A happy news to me.

Yesterday my aunt asked me whether I wanted to go back to China or not.Of course I hoped to.When I came here,I booked round ticket.Then my aunt said if you want to go back to China,you had no choice to change your school,because that school's summer class starts in July.My flight is on July 4th.I could join it.Finally,I decided to not change my school for next semester.I was very happy.I really love Nassau.I want to stay here.Even more I can go back to my hometown.That makes me more happy.I am really looking forward to it.

Hiking

Today we went to New Jersey to go hiking.It was called Great Swamp.There were so many people went hiking as well.The air was so fresh.It was a quiet place.Unluckily,we did not see many animals there except some frogs.It was a very short trail.In fact,we did not enjoy it.It was nothing fun.Plus we ate some really bad food.Then we went to Randall's Golf to paly golf.I played the mini golf with my cousin.It was a kind of fun.Then we got home.Everyone was tired.

The party

It seems that I am so lazy.I did not write my blog for a long time.Today it was the first time to have this kind of party with so many friends.The food was good.I really felt thankful for all the students who brought the food.I sat together with my friends.We took a lot of pictures with my classmates and my friends.I did not dance in the front.I did not know how to.If I knew,I would dance with Fernando.Overrall I enjoyed the party.It will be the best memory when I am learning English here.

Passover

Yesterday evening we went to my uncle's sister's house to celebrate Passover.Her house is in connecticut.My uncle told me that the town which his sister lives in is one of the richest town in the US.Her house is really beautiful.My uncle's whole family were there.This was the first time to join in them.They had a lot of food to eat.They had some process.After the meal and diseert.They hid a special cookie .Then they asked the kids go and find it.They all got money from the family.After that,they seated around the table.Everyone washed their hands and began to read a book.I was so nervous because I was afraid of reading among all the people.I was scared of I did know most of the words in the book.I did not know how to read them.They took turns to read.Everyone read a little part.I seated next to my uncle.They all read so quickly.When it was my turn,I was really really tense.When I did not know how to read the words,my uncle helped me.After I done,everyone clapped their hands and said great.I was so relaxed.My uncle said :see,you did it.You were better than your aunt.During their reading,they drunk wine four times.After that,everyone went back home.It was a really special and meaningful experience.

Rio

Today we went to the movie cinema to see the movie Rio.It was really a great movie.It was about the risky of the two parrots,because they were  endangered species.Some bad guys wanted to catch them and sell them.This movie talked about how they escaped from the bad guys and what happened to them. This movie wad named Rio.It was a city of Brazil.The Story was took place in this city. It was so beautiful.After seeing this movie ,I really wanted to go there.There also something attracted us. The birds in the movie were from Angrybird.It was a wonderful combine.Also this movie used a lot of dances and songs from Brazi and the special festival from Brazil.It was Carnival.Anyway this movie was really worth seeing.I loved it so much.

Hey

It seems a long time that I did not use my blog.I was really really sad. Luckily the teacher helped me.How time flies. Another vacation is coming up.I do not think I can do anything fun.Last vacation I could enjoy it because my uncle was not very busy during that time and my cousin had the vacation at the same time,so my uncle could take us to many places.This time,my cousin already had her vacation last week.In addition to these days my aunt's neck hurt very much.I do not how.Now she can not move.She just can stay in bed.That means during my vacation I need to take care of my cousin instead of her.The only thing I like the vacation is I can lie in everyday.Haha...I hope I can enjoy the vacation.I hope all of you can enjoy it as well.

  Today when I  was about to get off the train at Penn Station,I was behind a woman.We all took turns to get out.Suddenly she picked a phone  from the seat next to her.She  put it in her poket very fast.She looked around.She saw me was looking at her,but she did not care.When she got out,she was so happy and she talked to a man.When I Stared at her,she did not feel shy.She just kept laughing.She might feel very lucky today.I felt so sorry about the owner of the phone.

One day inNew Jersey.

Today we went to the Edgewater Golf to play golf in New Jersey.I never played golf before.It was very interesting.It was worth doing.There were full of people.Most of them were Korean or Japanese.After we played for one hour,we went to the market near the Edgewater Golf.I thought that was a big Japanese market.There were all Japanese restaurants.All kinds of decilious Japanese food.We waited for half an hour to get our turn to eat there.It was very tasty.There also many Japanese snacks.They were so cute.I could not control myself to buy them.They were so fascinating.After we went back home,everyone was tired.I will go to sleep early tonight.See you tomorrow.

Yesterday my friend invited me and other four Chinese to his house to have lunch.After class,we went to a big Chinese supermarket to buy some food for the lunch in Hempstead.Then we got to his house.Everyone was so hungry.We all helped him to make food.He made the hot pot for us.Even though it was not as good as in my hometown,we all enjoyed eating.I thought we were like a big family. I felt very warm. When we could eat together and talk with each other happily.This was the happiness moment..

Excited!

Today I went to Flushing with my friend.When we passed by a bookstore,I saw a paper sticked on the door of the bookstore.It said here came a new book.The author was my favorite idol!I knew that book before I came here.Since I came here,I was not sure if I can buy it here.So I decided to buy it in my country.I was so excited that I could find it here.Then I went to the bookstore to find whether there is the book.To my pity,the book already sold out. I just left my phone number .Then saleswoman said when next time the book come ,she would call me ,and they would left one for me.I was so excited. I hope I can get it quickly.

What a full day!

   Yesterday I and my five frineds went to Flushing. This was the last day I been with my two Ohio firends.So we decided to do something fun.We went to the KTV.That was really great.Even thought the room was so small. We had a lot of fun.After that,I took my two friends to the Centre Park.We rode a horse.It was a little cold.We made a serious mistake.We forgot to ask the price before we saddled the horse.The guy charged us 75 dollars! I thought that was a cheating..Anyway they did not care much about that.Then we went to a Japanese resturat to eat sushi.It was so custard-pie. It was like a bar. We could understand anymore.We just ate a little food.When I came back home ,it was 11 pm.I really hoped they  enjoyed  being here.

2 days ago my friend and his girl friend came to Newyork for their spring vacation . They study in Ohio university .We were in the same high school in China. We knew each other by one of my friend which we both knew.This was the first time we met each other.As a host in newyork,I treated them for dinner.I brought them to Chinatown and Flushing.We just walked around the street.They liked the food here.We talked and laughted.We all very happy.I hope they can enjoy themselves in newyork.

busy weekend

  This weekend I was so busy.Even I did not have time to write my blog.Yesterday morning we went to Philadelphia to see my uncle's mum.He drove  there.It took us 2 hours to get there.It was so nice and  quiet.It sounded by the trees and grass.It was like a big park.The air there was so fresh.We ate many special food .We slept over there.Everything was wonderful.We just came back home this afternoon. I think this place is good for vocation.No one bothers us.We can go to the park to take a walk or we can go hiking there.Everything is so wonderful.We will go there next month.

Tired

Yesterday we went to Costco.There were so many people there. Most of them were Chinese. Costco was really a big store.It sells everything ,and all the stuff were so cheap.It took us 1 hour to choose what to buy.We bought a lot of things.Then we went to Flushing to pick up my aunt.We ate some Chinese food in the Flushing mall.It was too late when we got back home. I was so tried.I was so excited to see all the attractions.

Excited

Yesterday I got the first money in my life. I was so excited. Even though,I just got a little money, that was very meaningful to me.One of my aunt's friend was very busy yesterday.I have nothing to do every afternoon.So I decided to be a babysitter for the one year old baby.She was too little to speak.I just palyed all kinds of toys with her. I tried to make her happy.She did care at all.She was very cute.I did not feel tried when I took care of her.My aunt said I can be a good babysitter.haha..Because I like to play with little baby.

The movie

Yesterday I went to see the movie called Rango with my cousin.It was about a chameleon adventured in a desert. Finally, he found true to himself. He knew how to deal with the problem. The polt of the movie was so funny.Some of them I could understand.Because there was no caption,I could catch all of them.However,I enjoyed it.It was a meaningful movie.I liked the little chameleon.He was so cute.

What a nice day.

  Today the weather is so nice.We went to the Union Square Park .It is  near our apartment.There were so many people spent time there.Most of them carried  their kids to play there.It was so crowed there.The kids were so happy played there including my cousin .Also I saw many squirrels here and there around the park.They were also enjoy the nice weather.I never saw so many people there since  I came here.I hope the weather will get better and better.We can get rid of the bad weather and enjoy our outside life.

I can not understand.

Today after our class, I talked with my friend about our class.She said to me that she did not like one of her classmates. The girl in her class was very disgusted with China.The girl always said to others how bad China was.When they had the lesson about fraud,the girl told everyone that there were so many deception in China almost everywhere,even there was a fake bank in China.Then my friend explained to her,the girl just said to other student:Do not listen to her,she is a Chinese. When I heard about that,I felt so mad,although I did not knew the girl.I just wondered how could the girl know that.I really could not understand her.Anyway,I know China has many disadvantages. I still proud of I am a Chinese. China is a really great country. Chinese are the smartest if you know the history about my country.I do not care what others think about China.We know ourselves very much.

Bad luck.

This afternoon my friend and I went to the mall.He drove there.Unlucky,we lost our way to the mall.He just drove around the street over and over again.Finally,we got there.What was worse, after we went out of the mall,he could not find his car.We both could not remember which parking he put the car. The parkings there are so big.They are look the same.We went to 3 different parkings.At last,we found it.It took us a long time.Then I told my friend,do not forget to remember the parking where you put your car next time when you are out.Actually,we did not enjoy the time,we spent more time on finding the way and the car.What a bad luck today.

Nice day.

Today the weather is so nice.So my uncle took us to the Centre Park to go skating.I am a little bit scare.Because I never try it before,plus it was a long long time for me did not do roller skating. Anyway I did it.It was not as cold as I thought on the ice.I felt so hot.We spent 2 hours three .Then we went to the Centre Park Zoo,I saw many kinds of birds.They are so beautiful.I like the penguins best,they are so little .They jumped up and down happily.They are so cute.Then we went to the Children's Zoo to fed the goats.Well, I enjoyed it. By the way,I am so excited tomorrow we can have class. See you ~

This afternoon my aunt asked me to go to her friend's birthday party with her in Brookly.Then we prepared everything ready to go,just at that moment,she found this was the wrong day,actually the party is on next saturday.We just hang out in Manhattan.We went to the Books Wonder to read some books ,there has all kinds of books. I read something about American history.At last, we went to my uncle's own company.I never been there befor.He showed his design in his office.It was really cool. Like the flashlight,the refrigerator,the bowl and many stuff.Though I just saw all the models,It was so cool.All of them are about breakthrough pruducts. This is my day.

Er.....

Today I went to the long island to see my friend. He just bought a new car.He went to pick me up in the train station. Haha..What surprised me was his car is the same as my father's.When I got on his car,I felt so familiar.Then I got to his house,This was the first time for me to came to his house.He treat me as his guest.He let me play with his computer.He just seated there and gave me a lot of snack to eat.Then he cooked a meal for me.Even it was not didelious,I was very happy.Then he drove his car all around the town.He is a green hand.So he was very careful.He said next time he could took me to the long beach to have fun.Ha.I am looking forward to it.

It seems like this is a long time that we do not have class.I really miss all of you.I have a very strong desire to go to school.Alought now I can enjoy my vacation and do whatever I want,we do not need to worry about time.I still would like to be with you.We can have a happy mood to spend our class time.I feel like I lost something in my mind without our class.I miss my class. I hope time can go very fast. I am dying to go to school!

Today I hang out with my 3 friends in Manhattan.We really had a great time.At frist,we went to Chinatown to find some spicy food to eat. Haha..Because we Chinese like to eat spicy food,it took us a long time to find a restaurant which offer spicy food.The food was really great!We 4 had a big lunch.Then we went to the Centre Park,there were still much snow.It was so cold.But we took a lot of pictures and walked around the park,we enjoyed it.last,we went to Times Squre.There were so many people.We just had a look at it and did some window shopping around 57 street.I was so happy to be with them.We decided to go to karaoke in Flushing next time.haha.I am looking forward..

jasmine revolution.

 Today my uncle told me about jasmine revolution also happened in China.I even did not know what jasmine revolution is.I  was so curious.Then I surfed the internet to find more information about it.I found it first happened in Tunisia.Then it spread the whole Middle East .They fought for democracy.Many people became sacrificial lambs. They suicided themselves.My uncle said even it would  not influence USA, this was not a bad thing for the Middle East, it may help many countries to change the current situation.I think that is right. I hope the situation will be better in China.

Bronx Zoo

Today my uncle took my cousin and me to the Bronx Zoo.This was my first time to go to the zoo in Newyork.I was so excited.The zoo was really big.We spent 3 hours there.I saw many animals which I never saw before in China.They were so cute. They were so funny.I like them.Unfortunately,because of the cold weather,we could not see many animals outside.We just could see the animals inside.What impressed me most was the pole bear.It was the right time for him to play outside,so we saw him played with a ball happily.it attracted many people to see him. It was really cute.It was a pity that I did not see the tigers.Anyway we had a great time!

Went to the mall.

 This afternoon Christopher,Jake and me went to the  Roosevelt mall. This is the first time  for me to come here.First we ate  some Chinese food.I think it was great, I liked it.One thing I was confused that the waitresses there were Chinese. When I asked them : Can you speak Chinese? ,and they said :yes. Then I tired to speak Chinese with them.To  my surprise, They did not even want to talk to me in Chinese. They just answered my question in English. I really could not understand them. So bad~~~.Anyway, we three had fun in the mall. We looked all the stores there.  They all so wonderful. I like it. Jake made fun of me during the whole time.>.< He is a really funny boy.We will go there together next time.

my new hair style.

 Yesterday I went to Chinatown to cut my hair.Before I decided to cut my long hair,I was in two minds.Whether to cut or not.After all,it would be a pity to cut my hair.Finally, I still cut my hair, now I changed to a new hair style,bob haircut.Now,I am a little bit regret. I dare not to meet anybody! I am so confused.

my book-The Pearl

         This book is about a poor Indian couple.Their name are Kino and Juana.Unfortunately,their baby  had been stung by a scorpion.They did not have much money.They could not afford it. The doctor in their town was very force.They only saw the patients who were very rich.Kino was a fisherman.In order to earn money,he lived on salved the pearl.One day ,he found a valuable pearl.It was the greatest pearl in the world.

My classmates

 Now I find that I love my classmates and dear Elaine more and more and more.I really enjoy it.I think our classmates and Elaine like a big family. We get on good terms with each other.Everyday we have fun with you.
Especially some classmates are so so friendly to me  with  open arms.They always make me warm.Like once I wrote a post about my feeling ,and I really could not believe some classmates would see my post,even they commented on my post. I was so moved.I really appreciate.I used did not want to go to school in my country,but here everyday  the most happiest thing is to go to school and be with you.

Chinese New Year~

    This year our Chinese new year is celebrated from February 3th to February 18th.Before the first new year day,we used to watch Spring Festival party on the TV.That became a custom.During these days we usually get together with our big family and we eat a lot delicious food which are prepared before the new year.
Also we often play with the fireworks and crackers to welcome the new year.Money will be given to children as a lunar New Year gift.When I was a children I used to get a lot of money from my relatives,and parents will buy new clothes for their children ,so every children like New Year.Well, this is the first time I could not celebrate the Spring Festival.I am really feel upset.

I love Miami.

I really had a great time in Miami.I like it very much. This was the first time I been there.I lost myself in the beautiful scenery. The sky is very blue and the clouds are like cotton. We can see coconut tree here and there. Most importantly, the weather is so nice. We did not need wear so much clothes. All we did is enjoy ourselves in the beach .That was so wonderful. Also I ate lots of deliouse food. I really do not want go back.Miami ,see you next year.

I am so sorry about my speech.

Yesterday I watched a very scare TV show on travel channel.It was talked about three guys stayed in a building which used to be a hospital.they were stayed there in the midnight.they wanted to see if there was a ghost.They used a very special camera which can vision what people could not see.They saw three shadows from the computer.What is more ,they heard somebody talking with the three guys.It was really scare.It made me fearful.I began to believe the exist of the ghost.That is really terrible.

friendship.

I really like to make friends,especially in a new environment.I really treasure my friends around me.I think a true friendship is one soul in two bodies.If whoever wants to make friends with me,I will be so glad to open my arms to welcome.I do not care who you are,where are you from.I just want to make sure that if you are really going to regard me as your friend, that is enough to me.I will be a very good friend.

I miss my hometown.

I came here almost two months, I always get homesick. I miss my family and my friends.In fact I am not really happy, because I feel so lonely. I have to do everything all by myself,I have no good friends here.I have no one to talk with.I never have this feeling before, I am not accustomed to this new life. But I do not want my parents down, so I need to work hard and try my best to get used to this new situation. I have enough courage. Come on,HOngmei Nie.

Today I went to flushing to attend my aunt's business conference , it is about marketamerica .Some successful chinese people share their story about how to do it.After I hear their speech, I was really amazing , I realized that it is so important to believe in ourselves , if we are normal people, we also can make it, if we can work hard on it, and never give up.I am sure everyone can be very rich and successful.

snowing day,

  What a big snow today! Luckily I did not get to the school late ,I did not stuck in the snow.Though it is very  beautiful,I really do not like it ,I think everyone does not like. It may bring too much trouble for us,even we can not move anywhere.I hope the weather would be better,it is not a enjoy ,it is so terrible.

what a bule day.

 i feel so sad that i went to school late again,even i got up at 5:30 in the early morning, and then took a subway ,     train and a taxi.I know it is really a long way , i do not care how hungry i am and how tired i would be ,i just want to go to the semester on time everyday . i really do not know what to do , i do not want to be late, i do not want my teacher down,i really want to be a good student.I   am really upset.
